For many years I have been using the HIBS Billiard Trainer, invented, developed and constantly improved by Maxim Sayapin, in my training sessions for athletes and amateurs.
A partial list of the aspects of the game that HIBS helps to improve: comfortable work on the shot technique, speed control, increased break-out power, hitting with the non-dominant hand, the ability to make a large number of shots with a lack of time.

In 2016, at the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports, Youth and Tourism (GTSOLIFK), Department of Theory and Methodology of Individual and Team and Intellectual Sports, I defended my final qualification thesis "Methods of Using the HIBS Trainer to Increase the Initial Hitting Speed When Forcibly Breaking the Pyramid in Pool".

I have been training on the simulator for four months now. I have been playing Russian billiards for a long time and have been looking for a way to improve my game for a long time. Now improving accuracy and feeling the power of the shot has become a reality. I have also found a way to improve my fitness. I have lost a few kilos, which before I could only achieve through strenuous running. I found out which parts of my body hurt (I drew an analogy with weightlifting, I learned that the elbow flexor has muscles too), calluses indicated some flaws in my technique, and I began to feel the subtleties of the grip better. After a while I caught the "weightlessness", the cue weight strike was no longer just a figure of speech for me. It was very easy to monitor the results thanks to the FTP test, my results almost doubled. The progress is particularly noticeable on the left hand. It used to be a shame to spend so much time developing it, but now I use it to rest my right hand. I plan to master the game from the machine. Good for stress relief as you are completely immersed in the training process. The developers are always in touch, provide technical support, give very useful advice and, above all, methodological help. As for drawbacks, I would like to point out that it is necessary to solve the problem of installing the equipment in each specific case, because the conditions are different for everyone, and the simulator starts to move more and more as the skill grows. I believe that HIBS has unlimited possibilities, and even if I reach a growth (which I doubt for now), I will continue to use it as a warm-up before the game, or just to keep fit. You can hit it 1000 times with each hand in an hour. My wife is also pleased that the equipment and accessories are of high quality and blend in well with the interior of the room. I think this is one of the best purchases I have made for my physical and personal development.
